About the Symposium
The Second Annual PACO Symposium is organized in a hybrid format, including virtual and live sessions. Pre-recorded oral presentations by invited experts will be made available a week before the live session. Participants will have the opportunity to review these presentations, send questions, and then participate in the live Q&A Session on October 24, 2020.
The live session will be chaired by the Lord Professor Ajay Kakkar, MBBS, PhD of the University College London, UK. The main speakers of the symposium will participate in the discussion, which will be based on questions received from registered participants of the symposium and session chairs as listed in the program. Registered participants who have visited the pre-recorded sessions can submit their questions to individual speakers at secretary@paco2020.com.
The final session will include a keynote presentation by Professor Favio Lievano, MD, Vice President of Safety Science, AbbVie, USA, on the development of vaccines for the control of the COVID-19 pandemic. This will be followed by a commentary from Professor Ravi Durvasula, MD of Loyola University Medical Center, USA.
The participants of this symposium will receive a Certificate of Participation certifying 4 CME level II credit hours from the International Union of Angiology. Pre-registration is required to attend this meeting and to receive the Certificate of Participation.
The program is organized by the PACO Foundation and the North American Chapter of the International Union of Angiology (IUA) under the auspices of the IUA.
